The set designed in gold and silver takamaki-e, hiramaki-e, gold foil and nashiji and hirame embellishments with a stream flowing through hills with blossoming cherry trees and pine trees and a temple in the distance, the writing table fitted with silver hardware, the writing box with removable trays, inkstone and writing implements (inkstick holder, water dropper, brush case, paper knife holder); interiors of both boxes nashiji; rims silver
