A miscellaneous collection of commemorative space medallions,
including: a bronze medallion, the obverse cast with the profile of Sergei Korolev in relief with a rocket and part of the earth illustrated, embossed, World's first Earth orbiting satellite --4¾in. (12.1cm.) diam.; another smaller bronze medallion, the obverse cast with the profile of Sergei Korolev in relief, dated 1906 - 1966, the reverse illustrating hands working with a protractor and pencil embossed, The bridge of hope across is thrown open by the launching of the earth orbiting satellite ... the road to the stars is opened - S.P. Korolev, Pravda 10, XII, 1957 --2 5/8in. (6.7cm.) diam.; and others of similiar interest.
