A Model of a Dutch Yacht pre-1768

A fine scratch built model in 5/16" scale built up in plank on frame construction. The hull and decks of the model are planked in boxwood, and all of the planking has been pegged in place. The cap rail and other structural details of the model are in mahogany. All of the wood work is finished bright. The model is fitted with numerous details which include: anchor, pin and fife rails, skylight, hand railings with turned columns, windows, leeboards with lifting tackle, cleats, tiller, quarter galleries, and other details. There are a number of carvings, including relief carvings on the transom and over the quarter galleries.
