The top of the hinged cover finely inlaid with a scene of an Imperial procession in a landscape of hills and trees, all but one figure on horseback, and one of the military riders with a hawk perched on his hand, with further landscapes on the front, back and sides of the cover and box, and scenes of flowers in lower panels on the ends, with huangtong mounts and yellow silk-lined interior
