A MUGHAL-STYLE WHITE JADE LOBED BOX AND COVER
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The oval box is carved in the shape of a flower with lobed petals. The interior has four compartments. The base is carved with a flower-head and the slightly domed cover is surmounted by a detachable flower bud finial. The stone is of a pale greenish white tone.
