EDMOND LEXCELLENT WAS BORN IN PARIS 1834 AND WORKED AT 46, RUE DE CHARENTON IN 1867 UNTIL HE MOVED TO 8, RUE BREGUET WHERE HE WORKED UNTIL 1928. HE EXHIBITED AT THE UNIVERSAL EXHIBITIONS OF 1855, 1865 AND 1889 AND WON AWARDS ON ALL THREE OCCASIONS.
