A Nisbet Teddy Bear, William Nisbet Wilson's first teddy
with yellow plush, swivel head, jointed limbs, bib with Nisbet logo on and card tag signed William Nisbet Wilson, 1978 --15¾in. (40cm.) high (ink faded on signature)
William was born in 1978, the son of Jack Wilson and Alison Nisbet, and as a baby promoted Nisbet bears in an advertising campaign. This was William's actual bear which he presented to the museum in 1988, when he visited with his father.
