Shown seated in maharajalilasana with the right hand resting on the bent knee holding one end of a long celestial scarf trailing down the sides from the shoulders, and the left hand raised palm upward, wearing a skirt falling in loose folds around the body and with a sash tied diagonally around the torso and over a portion of the beaded necklaces, the head tilted to one side carved and painted with delicate features below hair drawn up into an elaborate looped coiffure with knotted tresses trailing from behind the foliate headdress, painted in dark green, dark red, black and cream color, some restoration, repairs, losses and cracks--37 in. (94cm.) high
