the cages painted with elaborate friezes in blue and yellow with birds and leaves, with white painted fences, gate and loofah trees, the finely carved and painted figures, comprising animal trainer, two visitors, camel, elephant, lion, two spotted big cats, giraffe, rhinoceros, hyenas, monkey, zibra, antelope, polar bear and three extra animals, -- the longest cage 11.1.2in. (29cm.) long, German mid 19th century (one cage door missing and some repairs to cage doors)
