A PAIR OF BEADED AND QUILLED HIDE POSSIBLE BAGS
each of usual form, decorated across the front with red, yellow, orange, green, and purple-dyed porcupine quillwork, with a series of four bands enclosing crossed linear elements, alternating with narrow bands against the hide ground, overlaid with columns of red-dyed feathers, the sides with panels of banded beadwork, sinew sewn and lane-stitched in white, yellow, white-heart red, and two shades of blue and green beads, the overflap with a narrow band of beadwork along the edge, surmounted by a broad panel of quill-wrapped slats decorated with cross motifs, trimmed with metal cone pendants inserted with green-dyed horsehair and quill-wrapped thongs terminating in carved deer hooves tied with green-dyed horsehair, hide ties
