A pair of Chinese stained ivory rectangular screens
with stands, the panels carved with ladies and attendants in fenced gardens before pavillions and pine within a continuous pierced border of stylised flowerheads, the reverse carved with archaic vessels and vases issuing flowers, set within a pierced frame carved with Buddhistic lions above foliate designs set on shaped feet -- 10in. (26cm.) high, 19th Century, (age cracks, minor wear).
