Each U-shaped, formed of sheet with a border of rope wire on each side, the obverse with a bezel-set pointed garnet, both sides ornamented with domes, each centered by a granule, clusters of granulation and scrolling filigree twisted wires, the front edge with a domed shield centered by a granule and bordered by twisted wire, the arching hoop hooked around the loop above, an inverted pyramid of hollow spheres along the lower edge; joined to modern ear hooks
