A PAIR OF EMPIRE GREY-PAINTED AND PARCEL-GILT CHAISES EN GONDOLE
Each outscrolled incurved crestrail with acanthus leaftip decoration above a padded back and half oval seat upholstered à chassis with peach velvet, the front seatrail decorated with opposed laurel branches centering a flowerhead, the side seatrails with scrolled acanthus issuing a laurel branch, on cabriole legs with leaf-sheathed scrolled top, each headed by paterae, each bearing a paper label inscribed in pencil de Wolfe, one inscribed Williams, one inscribed in pencil 2, the other 5 (2)
