A pair of famille verte models of Buddhistic lions
each seated on its haunches on a pierced rectangular base facing left and right, the male with a brocade ball under its left forepaw, the female with a cub at her right -- 9in. (23cm.) high, 19th Century, (the male with one ear restored).
