A pair of French giltwood and cane alcove seats, late 19th/early 20th century
In the Louis XVI taste, each curved panelled caned back with ribband and ribbon-tied palm spray (one cresting) defective with beaded mouldings and moulded curved sides with foliate finials, having a caned seat with cushion and foliate and beaded panelled seat-rail, with entrelac ornament, on stop-flluted tapering legs terminating in turned spool feet
