In the Louis XVI style, of D-shaped and breakfront outline, surmounted by moulded breche violette marble tops, the friezes carved in relief with oak leaves and acorns and hung with ribbon-tied floral garlands, on stop-fluted tapering legs headed with spiral foliate medallions terminating in turned bun feet
