Each on an oblong plinth raised on four leaf-clad lion's paw feet, with foliage rims, the sauceboats on a spreading foot and with foliage rim, the bifurcated handles each terminating in a swans head, the sauceboats each engraved with a coat-of-arms below a coronet, each marked underneath, on edge of stand, on foot and rim of sauceboat, the rim of the sauceboat and top of stand each marked with a later French tax mark
