Maker's mark of John Wakelin and William Taylor, London, 1781
Each shaped oval and on an oval foot with beading, the part-fluted body with band of lobes under beading, with two upswept reeded handles, the interiors gilt, the sauce tureens with conforming part-fluted covers surmounted by a bud finial, one side of each body and cover engraved with a crest, marked under bases and covers, also with inventory numbers and scratchweights 'No 1 20=13, No 2 20=17, No 4 5=4, No 5 5=1'
