The maker IR, was active in both Fürth and Nuremberg in the last third of the eighteenth Century. A large quantity of Jewish ceremonial objects produced by him have survived and been documented i.d.: Torah Shields (Grafman 25 and 32); (Weber 31); Rimmonim (Grafman 300); Torah Pointers (Grafman 544 and 545); Kiddush Cup (Kayser 101); Spice Tower (Weber 34); The Sassoon Shabbat Lamp (Important Judaica, Sotheby's Tel Aviv, April 1997 lot no.19).
