Signed Dai Nihon Kutani Kosei Do Seizo, Meiji Period (late 19th century)
Decorated in typical coloured enamels and gilt with two lobed panels containing Chinese style women, a scholar on a deer and children, the reverse containing birds amongst peonies and plum, bordered by roundels of bats and geometric designs, the neck with ho-o and dragons
