decorated in gold and silver hiramakie and takamakie with crows perched and in flight amongst leafy branches, one scene before a large moon, parts of the branches simulating bark with the lacquer in high relief, on a plain gilt background, wood frames -- 26¾in. (68cm.) high overall, (crack and minor chip to one).
