A PAIR OF LARGE BLUE AND WHITE DISHES Kangxi period (1662-1722) One dish decorated with an interior scene of a young lady kneeling before an elderly bearded official while two attendants hold cloth-covered gifts, the other dish decorated with two officials standing on a path leading to a scene of Xi Wang Mu being being fanned by an attendant while the white hare mixes the Elixir of Life, all amidst vaporous clouds, the exteriors painted with flowering branches 14 5/8in. (37cm.) (2)
