A pair of large Cantonese blauster vases
with everted foliate rim, recumbent Buddhistic lion and confronting cub handles, everted foliate collar reserved with ruyi heads and two pairs of moulded dragons, painted and gilt with panels of dignitaries, ladies and warriors on terraces, all on grounds of birds amid scattered fruit and flower sprays, band of lappets encircling foot -- 34¾in. (88.5cm.) high, (rims restored).
