A pair of large Carl Thieme chinoiserie groups
in the white, one modelled as a man fishing by a pool, beside him stands a woman holding a basket of fish, before a bridge and trellis, the other with a figure of a woman before a chair, a young girl brings her a basket, between them an infant, before benches on steps, both on oval mounds applied with flowers, printed blue marks, early 20th century (some minor damages, one of girls pig tails repaired, large filled firing cracks to bases) -- 43.2cm. and 45cm. wide
