Of slender shield shape, the tall trumpet neck decorated in coloured slip with panels of foliage above pendant bell-flowers, flanked by upright loop handles, both finely painted and hand-tooled in white slip with a nymph attended by a putto, one with the figures burdened by bows and arrows, the other with them porting masks and playing musical instruments, the reverse with emblematic devices respectively labeled 'War' and 'Play', on a short spreading foot
