A pair of Naples style octagonal plaques moulded with classical maidens garlanding a bust, attended by fauns, and satyrs preparing a sacrifice, the octagonal wooden frames applied with gilt-metal panels reserved with hard stones issuing openwork sections reserved with masks, blue crowned N marks, late 19th century (some minor discolouration and rubbing to gilding) -- 21.5cm. x 18cm.
