Each of baluster form, finely painted in the manner of Watteau with Commedia dell'Arte scenes of Pierrot or Harlequin entertaining Columbine, within a gilt scroll cartouche with monkeys at the shoulder, the reverse with a riverside landscape, flanked by putti handles
