A pair of Shibayama-style ivory tusk vases on stands
inlaid in mother-of-pearl, tortoise shell, stained ivory and coral with birds and various insects amongst flowering branches and bamboo before a flowing stream, on lacquer and gilt circular shaped stands -- 6¼in. (15.9cm.) high, 19th Century, (minor losses to inlay).
