both of rectangular shape, carved in relief with a phoenix in flight above trees and flowering branches, before cloud scrolls and rockwork and a pavilion in the distance, within a key-fret border, on carved wood stands -- 171/8in. (43.5cm.) high; and another smaller pair of rectangular plaques carved with galloping horses amongst rockwork in a mountainous scene, on carved wood stands -- 15in. (38cm.) high, (chips and rubbing).
