A pair of Steiff Boston Bull-terriers
both with brown rough plush, large boot button eyes, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, black wrinkle lines to face, white mohair chests and front paws, squeakers, brown felt in ears, swivel heads and jointed legs --15in. (38cm.) long, circa 1912 (one tail damaged, one neck seam loose, one paw damaged and other minor wear)

The Boston Bull-terrier was also used for Buster Brown's dog 'Tige', but he was produced with googly glass eyes.
