A pair of Tang painted pottery models of equestrian polo players
each horse in full gallop with head turned slightly to the left, the riders twisting at the waist with arms raised and heads inclined, wearing tunics and boots, with their hair pulled up in top knots, traces of red, white and black pigments remaining -- 15in. (38cm.) long, perspex stands, (some resotration and old wear).

Thermoluminescence Test Numbers C198n59 and C198n60 are consistant with the dating of this lot. (2)
