A Pair of Terrestrail Globes with a Nautical Motif
J. Felkl and sons (Czechoslovakian, 20th century)
Both globes illustrate the continets, countries, oceans and currents of the world. The text and type are in Czechoslovakian. Well detailed and both displayed on dolphin bases. The larger globe has a verticle support running through the axis of the globe with the dophin in white and brass below. The smaller globe has the axis support running through at an angle and is supported by the back and tail of the dolphin. The dolphin is painted in green and gold.
18 x 8 in. (45.7 x 20.3 cm.) and smaller.
