Sale room notice
Both bureaus generally overall in a sound structural condition. Light scratches and marks consistent with age and use. As per the description there are some chips and losses to the painted and guilded decoration. There is also some cracking to the decoration around the joints of the carcass ie cabriole legs and pannels to the sides. No key present. The guilding is of quite a crude quality. They have a similar colour to that in the catalogue and are generally as illustrated. In need of only minor attention.
