A PAIR OF VICTORIAN SILVER DINNER-PLATES FROM KING GEORGE I OF THE HELLENES' BANQUETING-SERVICE MARK OF ROBERT GARRARD, LONDON, 1862 AND 1863 Each shaped circular with a rosette and guilloche border, each engraved with Greek initials below Greek Royal crown, marked underneath, the base further stamped 'GARRARDS, PANTON STREET, LONDON' 10 in. (26 cm.) diam. 39 oz. (1,230 gr.) The initials are those of King George I of the Hellenes, Prince of Denmark (1845-1913). (2)
