A PALE CELADON JADE ARCHAISTIC VASE AND COVER
19TH CENTURY
The flattened baluster vase is carved in low relief to each side of the body with ruyi panels and stylised archaistic motifs. The waisted neck has a pair of elephant-head handles with loose rings and a removable domed cover. The stone is of an even pale celadon tone with small russet flecks to one side.
