A pale celadon jade model of a lotus pod, 18th/19th century
carved in the round on a curved stem, resting on a large leaf with irregular flaring edges beside a lotus blossom and leaves, the stone of an even tone with a russet markings -- 1 15/16in. (4.8cm.) wide.
