A PALE WHITE JADE SLENDER ARCHAISTIC VASE AND COVER 18TH CENTURY Of ovoid section, the tapering body finely carved with a wide band of of archaistic pattern set between bow-string bands above and below from which bands of leaf tips point towards the flat base, with a further band of upright leaf tips on the waisted neck between the pair of ruyi scepter handles, the sides of the cover carved with four detached ruyi lappets below the rope-twist finial, the translucent stone of pale greenish-white color 7½ in. (19 cm.) high
