A Palissy type circular tazza
School of Fontainebleu, moulded in relief and painted in colours with 'Perseus and Andromeda', Perseus depicted flying through the air towards the chained Andromeda, the sea-monster beneath, several onlookers on the shore before, with ochre rim, the underside enriched in blue and brown glazes, 17th century (damages and stapled repairs) -- 23cm. diam.
