A parcel-gilt white metal staff, possibly Armenian, 19th Century
with ornate gilt decorated knop engraved with a lion and an inscription, the sheet metal long cylindrical shaft decorated with a scale decorated spiral band separated by a plain band, the knop and shaft joined in sections held by pins - 68½in. (174cm.) long.
