Circa 1800
The ewer with helmet-shaped lip and loop handle, the waisted neck with a matt-gilt shield with a bright-gilt monogram, the gilt shoulder with PAR L'AMITIÉ within a matt-gilt panel, the tapering body painted with swags and grapes suspended from anthemion scrolls divided by urns, the lower part with gilt ciselé gadroons on a gilt waisted foot, the well of the ogival rectangular basin similarly decorated with anthemion scrolls and urns within a gilt border (ewer with minute areas of wear to gilding)
