A Persian steel damascened khula khud
with pointed finial above two plume holders and moveable noseguard, decorated with flowers and foliage above panels of calligraphy, attached chainmail -- 10¾in. (27.2cm.) high; and two steel shields, each with four central bosses interspersed with calligraphic cartouches amongst flower sprays -- 19½in. (49.5cm.) max. diam., (old wear).
