A photograph album with lacquer covers
containing thirty two coloured sepia photographs variously depicting sumo wrestlers, bijin in interiors, villagers, scenes of Nikko, Yokohama, Enoshima Island, Kamakura, Tokaido, Kobe, Nagasaki, Hakone and others, the lacquer covers decorated with shaped panels of birds, scattered flowers and precious objects, the reverse part-inlaid in ivory and mother of pearl with crane in a flowering garden -- the album 12½in. x 15½in. (31.7cms x 39.4cms), (part of inlay missing, leaves and loose).
