A probably Potsdam royal portrait beaker Circa 1690 Of pinkish tint, engraved in Tiefschnitt with a frontal medallion depicting a royal couple possibly depicting William and Mary (wedlock 1641) almost illegibly inscribed Gullilmus II...Maria...Regina..., the portrait crowned and surrounded by military trophies: spears, trumpets, flags, suits of armour, drums, etc, the reverse decorated with a mythological scene depicting Perseus seated on Pegasus rescuing Andromeda, reserved within a floral surround, the rim and foot rim fluted (slight crisseling) 11,4cm high See illustration
