A PSEUDO-CORINTHIAN TYPE BRONZE HELMET

With false eye-holes and nose-guard, moulded eyebrows above, traces of incised decoration (later highlighted in white) include stylized hair locks over the brow, palmette flanked by snakes above, and a decorative border around the helmet perimeter, flange at rear, repaired with restoration

Formerly in a Swiss private collection prior to 1988.
