A Qajar lacquer oval box and cover
painted and gilt with a rectangular panel depicting a lady on a bed holding a rose before two figures approaching, one holding a fan and the other a whisk, two lovers walking in the background, all within borders of trees and lines of calligraphy, the sides with hunting scenes and further figures in buildings -- 12¾.in (32.5cm) wide, fitted velvet box, (slight damages).
