Of rectangular form with hinged cover, the front and back with an elaborate gul-o bulbul design of various flowers and perching birds on a dark slightly glittery ground, within simple golden borders, the interior with a bold iris spray together with lillies and butterflies on a plain golden ground, silver hinges and clasp, slight chipping to extremities
