QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-95)
The cover deeply carved to the centre with a scene depicting a princess astride a horse, beside two attendants, one holding a banner, within a walled and tree-lined rocky landscape, the sides of the box and cover with a band of lychees and foliage, all reserved on various diaper grounds
6¼ in. (16 cm.) diam.
