A rare Dean's Rag Book Co. Tru-to-Life American Black Bear
with long curly acrylic plush, brown and black plastic eyes, rubber moulded face with black nose, golden mohair muzzle, unjointed arms with rubber paws, growler, cloth label sewn into side seam and original red plastic collar, 1957 --20in. (51cm.) high (a few bald spots on back, thinning on top of muzzle and rubber beginning to dry); and an original photograph of the original owner and this bear, in a modern Tiffany & Co. frame (2)
The photograph was taken in the Summer of 1957, both the bear and B.S.A. bicycle were birthday presents, purchased from the toyshop 'Raggity Anns', in Blackheath, South London, for Peter Leven?.
