A RARE GRISAILLE, IRON-RED AND GILT EUROPEAN-SUBJECT PLATE
Decorated at the centre en grisaille with flesh tones picked out in soft iron-red depicting Cupid and Venus in a bucolic scene, within a gilt spearhead and dot band in the well and gilt Meissen-style lacework below the rim
