A rare Merrythought Bobby Bruin
with golden mohair, pronounced muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth, feet claws and webbed hand claws, orange and black glass eyes, large floppy ears, swivel head, jointed shaped arms, rod jointed legs, brown felt pads and label on foot --25½in. (65cm.) high, circa 1936 (balding to right side of face, back, tummy and left leg, pads replaced with glued brown felt, chest and back seam restitched)

Bobby Bruin was made in three sizes, metal rods were passed through legs and ended in rings around the feet that enabled the bear to take up many positions.
